(A) The application required of applicants to drive a taxicab shall be made upon forms furnished by the town for such purposes and shall, among other things, state the name, address, physical condition, physical description, former employer, court record and state chauffeur’s license number of the applicant. The application shall be signed and sworn to by the applicant. The applicant shall further appear at the office of the Police Department for the purpose of having his or her fingerprints taken and shall also furnish a recent photograph, both of which shall constitute a part of his or her application.

(B) The Chief of Police shall investigate the facts stated in the application and shall report his or her findings and recommendations to the Town Council.
