(A) Use. No person or group of persons shall use any town park area or facility for a scheduled recreation activity or activities or other use or activity which will interfere with or detract from any recreation activity or activities under the general supervision, direction and control of the Department of Public Works. All scheduled activities of the County’s Recreation Department shall take precedence over all other requests and use of any facility.
(B) Priority. Priority for use of park facilities, both indoor and outdoor, parks, playgrounds and open spaces will be as follows:
(1) Chowan County Recreation Department sponsored activities;
(2) Activities cosponsored by the Public Works Department and other groups or agencies;
(3) Edenton-Chowan School system activities;
(4) Public nonprofit community/service organization activities; and
(5) All others.
