(A) (1) No person shall carry a concealed handgun on or within any town-owned building and/or its appurtenant premises or in any town-owned park.
(2) An appropriate notice of the prohibition shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each town-owned building and in each park notifying persons of the prohibition against carrying a concealed handgun therein.
(B) This section shall not apply to law enforcement or other government personnel acting within the scope of their employment.
