It shall be unlawful for any person to play or practice football, golf, baseball or other games or activities of like character in any area in any town recreation area or facility except in areas specifically designed and designated for such game or activity. At no time and under no circumstances shall such games or activities be played in such proximity to playground equipment or park structures as to threaten bodily harm to persons using the park or cause damage to park structures.
