No shows, exhibitions or entertainment for which the condition of admission is the payment of money or any other thing of value, except shows, exhibitions or entertainment sponsored or cosponsored by the town shall be permitted on or in any recreation area or facility, except as shall be authorized by the Town Manager in an area designated by him or her.
