(A) (1) An official list of species approved for use as street trees in the town and a list of those species whose use is prohibited due to their poor quality and potential hazard as street trees is available in the town office.
(2) Trees that are neither included on this list, nor specifically prohibited by it, may be utilized as street trees only upon the consent of the Tree Committee.
(3) This list may be amended as necessary by the Tree Committee.
(B) Landscape plans for municipal parks or other publicly-owned areas, and the plant species proposed for use therein, shall be approved on a case by case basis with consideration given to the specific location and proposed use.
