(A) Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
(b) A violation of any of the provisions specified in division (B)(1)(a) above (as well as § 94.021) shall also subject the offender to a civil penalty of an amount as set by the Town Council. If the offender fails to pay this penalty within 15 calendar days after being cited for a violation, the penalty may be recovered by the town in a civil action in the nature of debt.
(c) Each day that any violation continues after a person has been notified that the violation exists and that he or she is subject to the penalties specified in divisions (B)(1)(a) and (b) above shall constitute a separate offense.
(d) This chapter may also be enforced by an appropriate equitable action, including injunctions or orders of abatement.
(e) The town may enforce this chapter by any one or any combination of the foregoing remedies.

(2) (a) Whenever a violation of §§ 94.020 through 94.025 and §§ 94.040 through 94.045 results from a continuing condition rather than a discrete event, a written notice shall be sent to the last known address of the responsible person, specifying the nature of the violation and what must be done to correct it, requiring the responsible person to correct the violation within ten calendar days after delivery of the notice, and informing the responsible person of the possible consequences of his or her failure to comply.
(b) Whenever a violation of §§ 94.020 through 94.025 and §§ 94.040 through 94.045 results from a continuing condition rather than a discrete event, the penalties and remedies provided for in division (B)(1) above may not be invoked until after the ten-day correction period specified in the section has expired.

(C) The procedure set forth in §§ 94.080 through 94.086 shall be in addition to any other remedies that may now or hereafter exist under law for the abatement of public nuisances and §§ 94.080 through 94.086 shall not prevent the town from proceeding in a criminal action against any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions of §§ 94.080 through 94.086 as provided in G.S. § 14-4.
