§ 72.07 PARKING ON CERTAIN STREETS.
   (A)   When signs have been erected giving notice that certain streets or portions of streets as designated on the official traffic maps of the town are subject to certain restrictions or limitations on the parking of vehicles, no person shall park any vehicle on the streets or portions of streets, except in conformity with the directions of the signs.
   (B)   (1)   It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police, whenever authorized and directed by an order of the Town Council, to erect and place, or cause to be erected or placed, signs indicating that parking in the zones is limited or limited as provided for in the order of the Town Council.
      (2)   The existence of signs designating that parking is limited to two hours at any place within the town shall be prima facie evidence that the parking regulator signs were erected or placed by authority of the Town Council and in accordance with the provisions of this section.
   (C)   Proof that any automobile has been parked in violation of this section and proof of the ownership of the vehicle shall be prima facie evidence that the owner of the vehicle did, in fact, park the vehicle in violation of the provisions of this section.
