(a) An application for a demolition permit shall be made at the office of the Division of Building and Zoning on a form prescribed for such purpose by the City Manager.
(b) The fee for a demolition permit shall be at a rate of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) for each 100 square feet of building area, not to exceed twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
(c) Upon issuance, a demolition permit shall be valid for thirty calendar days. The Building Inspector may extend this period, in writing, for an additional thirty days upon request by the permit holder, provided that substantial progress toward razing the building has been made.
