(a) Any person who engages in electrical wiring, other than minor repairs as hereinafter defined, or electrical contracting within the City must hold a valid registration issued by the Building Official.
(b) Registration permits shall be issued to individuals who satisfactorily demonstrate to the Building Official their knowledge of the principles of electrical wiring. This demonstration may be a written or verbal test or a practical demonstration, as determined on a case by case basis by the Building Official.
