(a) Projection Over Street or Other Public Space. No awning, canopy or marquee shall project over public property a distance greater than sixty percent of the distance between the property line and the inside curb line.
(b) Height Above Sidewalk. The minimum distance between the lowest portion of an awning, canopy or marquee above the surface of the sidewalk shall be seven feet.
