1317.03 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT.
   Application for a permit to erect, hang or attach an awning, canopy or marquee shall be made on a form prescribed by the City Manager for that purpose and signed by the applicant.
   It shall be the duty of the applicant to submit plans and specifications, showing in detail the manner in which such awning, canopy or marquee is to be erected, hung or attached, the material of which such awning, canopy or marquee is to be made, and such other matters as the Building Official may require. Such plans and specifications shall accompany the application for permission to erect, hang or attach such awning, canopy or marquee, provided that if complete information on the above can be furnished by fewer drawings and specifications than those prescribed by this section, in the opinion of the Building Official, only such drawings and specifications need be submitted as in his opinion are necessary to illustrate fully the size, dimensions and construction of awnings, canopies or marquees.
   The written consent of the owner of property upon which such awning, canopy or marquee is to be erected, hung or attached shall also have first been obtained and shall accompany the application to do so.
