Pursuant to Section 3.06
of the City Charter there is hereby adopted by the City, for the purpose of safeguarding persons and buildings and the contents of buildings from hazards arising from the use of electricity for light, heat, power, radio, signaling and for other purposes, that certain Code known as the National Electrical Code, being the most recent edition thereof, recommended by the National Fire Protection Association and designated NFPA No. 70 ANSI, and the whole thereof, as if fully set out herein, save and except such portions as may be hereinafter deleted, modified or amended. Not less than six copies of this Code have been and now are filed in the office of the City Manager for reference purposes. In addition, the City Manager shall always have copies available for sale, at cost.
