(a) No person shall move a building from one location to another on or across a
street without first obtaining a permit therefor from the Manager. The fees for such permits and other charges shall be as follows:
(1) To move a frame building which is not over 12 feet high and not over 12 feet wide nor over 22 feet long $ 5.00
(2) To move a frame building which is not over 12 feet high and not over 20 feet wide nor over 22 feet long 10.00
(3) To move a frame building which is over 12 feet high and not over 20 feet wide
nor over 22 feet long 15.00
(4) To move a frame building which is not over 2-1/2 stories high but which is over 20 feet wide or over 22 feet long 25.00
(5) All other buildings: The fee shall be fixed by a resolution or ordinance of Council in each case.
(6) In addition, there shall be a charge of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for each day over two days that the building remains an obstruction on any street, which amount shall be paid to the Manager.
(b) The permit shall be issued by the Manager and shall contain in writing the prescribed route to be followed by the building moving project.
The Manager shall have the right to refuse approval of any building moving project in the event the project is of such a nature as to cause damage, inconvenience or hardship to the City or any resident thereof or damage to any property of the City or any resident thereof.
