246.11   BEREAVEMENT LEAVE (FUNERAL).
   (a)   Full-time employees are entitled to a maximum of three days off with pay in the event of a death in the immediate family and an additional two days off with pay in the event of travel.
   (b)   For the purposes of this policy, immediate family is defined as spouse, child, mother, father, foster parent or guardian, brother, sister, grandparent, aunt, spouse’s aunt, uncle, spouse’s uncle, niece, nephew, grandchild, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother in law, sister-in-law, stepfather, stepmother, stepsister, stepbrother, stepson, stepdaughter, half-brother, half-sister, or any dependent person living in the same household.
   (c)   Part-time employees are entitled to up to three days off with pay in the event of death in the immediate family if the employee is scheduled to work those days requested off.
   (d)   Other circumstances may warrant the Village Manager to allow time off.
