§ 15-511. Penalty for Violation.

   1.   Any person who violates any provision of this Part, with the exception of § 509, and who fails to pay the fine set forth in § 510, shall be cited within 15 days of the violation and upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $15 and costs.

   2.   Any person who violates any provision of § 509 of this Part shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than $600 and costs, and, in default of payment of fine and costs, to imprisonment for not more than 30 days.
