171.13 PERSONS APPOINTED TO FILL VACANCIES OF SERVICE PERSONNEL.

The provisions of Sections 171.10 to 171.12 shall not be applicable nor shall the benefits thereof be extended to any person appointed to a position to fill a vacancy created by reason of the entering of the former incumbent of any office or position into the armed services of the United States.
