A. The mayor may appoint the building official, to serve at the pleasure of the mayor or contract for the services of the building official with qualified individuals or firms. The building official is hereby authorized and directed to enforce the provisions of this title.
B. The building official and building inspectors shall meet the qualifications set forth in Title 24, Chapter 301, of the Administrative Rules of Montana, as adopted by the State of Montana, Department of Labor and Industry. (Ord. 148, 6-8-1981; amd. Ord. 273, 7-7-2020)
