A. It shall be unlawful for any person within the limits of the city to deposit or store personal property or storage containers in or upon any street, thoroughfare or alley of this municipality, or in or upon any municipal recreational property. In addition, it shall be unlawful to deposit or leave any garbage, waste paper, rubbish, refuse, or debris of any kind in or upon any street, thoroughfare or alley of this municipality, or to allow the same to accumulate upon premises occupied by him or her so as to become dangerous to such or adjoining premises.
B. A person may obtain a permit from the City Public Works Director for short-term storage of building materials or building debris while active construction or demolition is taking place on the abutting premises. The permit shall specify the beginning and end date of storage, the materials to be stored, the location to be utilized for storage, the address the use is pertaining to and the requesting party’s name, address and phone number.
