A. Auction Sale Of Property: All personal property in possession of the police department, and unclaimed by the owner thereof for a period of six (6) months, may be sold by the chief of police at public auction, for cash, to the highest bidder.
B. Notice Of Sale: Notice of sale, specifying the property to be sold, date and place of sale, shall be published in at least one publication of a newspaper published in said city and said date of sale shall be not less than ten (10) days from the first publication (or in the case of only 1 publication, then from date of publication) and not more than fifteen (15) days from such publication.
