Any person convicted of a violation of any section of this code for which no penalty is specifically provided shall be fined in a sum not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for any one offense and such person may be confined in the city jail for a period of not more than six (6) months. Either or both such fine and imprisonment may be imposed. (1980 Code)
