Upon a violation of any provision of this chapter, including any rule or regulation promulgated pursuant to § 7.45 of this chapter, the city may seek legal and/or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction. In addition, any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall have committed a civil infraction and may be ordered to pay a civil fine of not more than $500. Each day that a violation occurs or continues shall constitute a separate offense.
