No building or portion thereof shall be used for a place to keep for sale any dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents or birds, except those intended for food, unless such building shall be at least 25 feet from a place of human habitation or from a place where food is prepared, placed, kept or sold. Such place shall be maintained in a clean condition, free from any accumulation of filth, garbage, rubbish or other waste, and shall not, because of odors, noises or other causes, constitute a nuisance.
