§ 134.032 PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR SCHOOL ATTENDANCE OF MINOR.
   It shall be unlawful and in violation of this subchapter for the parent of any minor to fail to exercise parental control and responsibility for the school attendance of said minor, including but not limited to the following:
   (A)   Knowingly permitting the minor to be absent, or failing to prevent the minor from being absent, from regular school sessions without good cause, as defined previously in this subchapter; or
   (B)   Knowingly changing the minor’s residence and failing to notify the school of the minor’s new address.
