Stormwater discharges to critical areas with sensitive resources (i.e., aquifer recharge areas, water supply reservoirs, wetlands, buffer areas) may be subject to additional criteria, or may need to utilize or restrict certain stormwater management practices at the discretion of the SWMD. The SWMD may designate sensitive areas and specific criteria for these areas after conducting a public hearing in accordance with the provisions of § 52.004.
