(A) Generally. It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to stop or park any vehicle, except in a case of real emergency, in compliance with the provisions of this traffic code, or when directed by a police officer or traffic sign or signal, at any time in the following places.
(B) Specifically.
(1) On the mainly-traveled portion of any roadway or on any other place in the roadway where vehicles stand in any manner other than as specified in § 72.02;
(2) Within 15 feet of any corner or intersection of a street;
(3) On a sidewalk;
(4) Within four feet of a public or private driveway;
(5) Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant;
(6) Within a crosswalk;
(7) Alongside or opposite any street excavation or obstruction when stopping or parking would obstruct traffic;
(8) Close enough to any railroad track so as to obstruct the movement of locomotives or cars;
(9) On that portion of public property located between the sidewalk and the curb line of the street on and along U.S. Highway 41 (South Railroad Street) and KY Highway 112 (West Main Street);
(10) On either side of Wilson Street between Railroad Street and Highland Avenue;
(11) On either side of Belleview Street between Railroad Street and Highland Avenue;
(12) On either side of the 200 block of East Farren Avenue between Railroad Street and Robinson Street; and
(13) At all places within the city limits as posted by signs at the discretion of the City Council.
