(A) The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting only in apparent damage to property shall immediately stop such vehicle at the scene of such accident or as close thereto as possible. The driver shall remain at the scene of such accident until he or she has fulfilled the requirements of § 70.052 of this subchapter. Every such stop shall be made without obstructing traffic more than is necessary. Any person failing to stop or comply with the requirements under such circumstances shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
(B) If the damage resulting from such accident is to the property of the driver only, with no damage to the person or property of another, the driver need not stop at the scene of the accident but shall make report of the damage resulting.
