(A) Upon the declaration of an emergency by the Mayor and, in conformance with the Oklahoma Constitution, the state statutes, and the city code, the Mayor may take any of the following actions:
(1) Convene the Durant Emergency Task Force;
(2) Create an advisory board with appropriate membership to develop policies and procedures appropriate for an emergency situation;
(3) Order the enforcement of any Presidential or Gubernatorial emergency directives, including but not limited to those directives aimed at protecting public health or property; or
(4) Direct the citizens of the city to take certain actions or limit certain activities for the protection of public health or property consistent with state and federal law.
(B) Unless otherwise stated, actions authorized herein shall be concluded upon the expiration of the declared emergency.
