12-432: MAINTENANCE BOND:
Prior to release of the performance bond or approved alternate or signing of the final plat, the subdivider shall furnish the local government with a maintenance bond, or escrow deposit, satisfactory to the local government attorney as to form, sufficiency, and manner of execution, to assure the quality of materials and workmanship and maintenance of required improvements in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the cost of public improvements. The bond or approved alternate shall run for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of release of the final plat or performance bond or approved alternate. (Res. 901, 5-10-1977)
