(a) The repair and replacement work and materials used to replace, repair, and restore any pavement which is undermined, cut, opened or broken through by any permittee hereunder, shall be inspected by the Street Commissioner. The materials used, the method of reclosing and resealing the pavement and breaking or opening therein or thereunder, shall be subject to such requirements as may be made by the Street Commissioner.
(b) Upon the completion of the repairing and resealing of any undermining, opening or breaking through made in the pavement, pursuant to any permit issued under this article, the Street Commissioner shall make a report of his final inspection of the same, and file a copy of the report with the Mayor.
