Any person, as defined in this article, violating any of the provisions of this article shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment, not exceeding thirty days or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day such violation of any provision of this article shall continue, such violation shall constitute a separate offense. In addition to the above penalties any person convicted of a misdemeanor under this section shall have his license revoked pursuant to the provisions of this article.
