(a) (1) Whoever violates the provisions of Section 507.10 shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both. In addition, any vicious dog which attacks a human being or another domestic animal may be ordered destroyed when in the Court’s judgment, such vicious dog represents a continuing threat of serious harm to human beings or domestic animals. In addition, any person found guilty of violating Section 507.10 shall pay all expenses, including shelter, food, veterinary expenses for identification or certification of the breed of the animal or boarding the veterinary expenses necessitated by the seizure of any dog for the protection of the public, and such other expenses as may be required for the destruction of any such dog.
(2) Whoever violates provisions of Section 507.10 on a second occasion with the same dog shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both, and shall be required to post bond with the City in the amount of one thousand dollars ($1,000) in consideration for being permitted to keep the dog, so long as the dog is kept in conformance with the provisions of this article.

(b) Any persons violating the provisions of this article for which no other penalty is provided for, shall be fined twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the first offense, fifty dollars ($50.00) for the second offense and one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the third offense.
