When the defendant in any case is to be tried under the provisions of the Codified Ordinances and the defendant requests a jury trial and is entitled to such jury trial, then in the event of a conviction the Municipal Judge shall require the defendant so convicted and tried by a jury to pay the costs incurred by the City in providing for the jury trial.
