171.02 ABSENCE OF MUNICIPAL JUDGE.

In case of the temporary absence of the Municipal Judge from the City or of his inability to act from any cause or in case of a vacancy in the office of Municipal Judge, the Mayor or an appointee of the Mayor shall exercise all the powers and functions delegated to the Municipal Judge. (1978 Code Sec. 16-2)
