129.02 DEPUTIZING AND SUMMONING ASSISTANCE.
   Any police officer, or any other person having authority to make arrests as provided by law, in case resistance is made or apprehended to the execution of any warrant, order, summons, or any other process whatsoever, may deputize or summon to his assistance, either orally or in writing, any person, or so many of the male inhabitants of the City of the age of eighteen or more to assist him as shall be deemed sufficient for the necessities of the occasion; and any such officer, and those assisting him, may use such force as shall be necessary or proper to overcome any resistance made to the executive of any warrant, order, summons, or other process; and any such officer or persons assisting him may seize and arrest and confine such persons making resistance, their aiders and abettors.
