§ 90.09 DESTRUCTION OF WOUNDED, DISEASED OR UNWEANED ANIMALS.
   (A)   Any animal seized or impounded which is badly wounded, diseased (not a rabies suspect) or unweaned and has no identification shall be destroyed immediately and in a humane manner.
   (B)   If the animal has identification, the Animal Control Officer shall attempt to notify the owner before disposing of the animal.
   (C)   If the owner cannot be reached readily, and the animal is suffering, the Animal Control Officer may destroy the animal at his or her discretion in a humane manner.
