There is hereby adopted for the purpose of the practical safeguarding of persons, buildings and dwellings and their contents from hazards arising from the use of electricity, for light, heat, power, radio, signaling and for other purposes, that certain code known as the National Electric Code, being particularly the 2014 edition thereof, recommended by the National Fire Prevention Association.
