§ 76.28 FIRE LANE SIGNS AND MARKINGS.
   (A)   Where in the judgment of the Fire Prevention Officer of the municipality, it is deemed necessary for fire lanes or signs to be provided on particular lots of privately owned property, all such owners of nonresidential, and of residential multi-family dwelling units, as defined herein, within the municipality shall cause to be designated on their properties by signs or lane markings, or both, one or more fire lanes as prescribed by the Fire Chief of the Washington-Perry Fire Board, or the Municipal Fire Prevention Officer, if such Fire Chief and Fire Prevention Officer are not one and the same.
   (B)   All such signs shall be conspicuously located and either attached to the exterior of the structure on the premises or attached to a pole not to exceed seven feet in height.
   (C)   Such signs shall be of metal construction, 12 inches wide by 18 inches high and shall contain white background with the following text inscribed in red lettering thereon, “Fire Lane, No Parking, Ordinance No. 37-80.” Lane stripping or markings shall be as the owner is reasonably directed by the Fire Chief or Fire Prevention Officer in the appropriate areas so designated.
   (D)   As used herein, MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL is defined as those buildings or structures containing more than three separate dwelling units.
   (E)   Any person may request a review by the Manager, or his designee, of the decision of the Fire Chief or Fire Prevention Officer designating fire lane markings or establishing signage if such request for review is made not later than 14 days after such designation.
