169.04 APPEALS.
Should any person or entity be dissatisfied with the decision of the Administration made pursuant to Section 169.01, above, said claimant may file an appeal to the Liability Claims Review Board for reconsideration. In order to perfect such an appeal, the claimant must submit written notice to the Liability Claims Review Board no later than thirty (30) days following receipt from the Administration of its determination of the claim in question. To be valid, said written notice of the claimant must be received by the Clerk of the Council on or before the expiration of said thirty day time period; and must further state the basis for the claim, and include a copy of written findings of the Administration, pursuant to Section 169.01, above. The Administration is hereby granted with discretion to extend said thirty day limitation if the interests of justice so require. Failure to provide written notice of an appeal of the decision of the Administration as provided herein shall cause the decision of the Administration to be final.
