935.03 INTERNET RATES FOR COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS.
(a) Rates. The rates set forth below shall apply to internet services provided to commercial customers.
(b) Monthly Charges.
(1) Commercial internet service:
Tiers 1-4-non-exclusive bandwidth with transfer rates "up to X Mbps" - allowing symmetrical transfer rates (equal download/upload transfer rates-bandwidth permitting) - one static IP address standard.
- Tier 1 - maximum transfer rate capped at a minimum of 2 Mbps - $195/month
- Tier 2 - maximum transfer rate capped at a minimum of 4 Mbps - $245/month
- Tier 3 - maximum transfer rate capped at a minimum of 6 Mbps - $295/month
- Tier 4 - maximum transfer rate capped at a minimum of 10 Mbps - $395/month
- Tier 5 - exclusive or dedicated bandwidth as negotiated per connection - allowing symmetrical transfer rates (equal download/upload transfer rate - bandwidth permitting) - one static IP address standard.
To be negotiated based on level of service required and prevailing availability of bandwidth and pricing
Pricing for any level of Internet service may be, but will not be required to be, negotiated if at least one of the two following conditions are met:
a) Internet service is provided in conjunction with a dark fiber lease agreement or
b) Agreement to an extended-length Internet service contract (typically beyond two years.)
IP Addressing
Additional IP addresses (beyond first assigned) - $5.00 per IP/month (assigned in blocks)
- single subscriber IP address (standard - no charge)
- five subscriber IP addresses (changed for additional four) - $20.00/month
- thirteen subscriber IP addresses (charged for additional twelve) - $60.00/month

(2) Dark fiber access. For dark fiber access the following charges:
A. First fiber pair per mile or portion of a mile (two strands of dark fiber) - $350/month
B. Each additional fiber pair mile or portion of a mile - $100/month
C. Non-profit or public benefit discount - (-$100.00) for first fiber pair mile or portion of a mile and (-$30.00) for each additional fiber pair mile or portion of a mile.

(c) Equipment Charges. The City Director of Telecommunications or his authorized representatives, may, in their reasonable discretion, enter into agreements for the provision of services, materials, or equipment beyond the point of the connection between the City’s Wide Area Network and the customer’s Local Area Network. The charges therefor shall be based upon the type and extent of such services, materials, or equipment, and shall be determined in accordance with the Network Access Service Policy statement promulgated by the City Director of Telecommunications under the authority of Section 935.04. In the event that the City and a customer agree upon the provision of such services materials, or equipment, the terms of agreement pertaining thereto shall be incorporated into the Commercial Internet contract entered. The City shall not be obligated to provide the types of services referenced herein in the absence of an agreement with the customer therefor.
(d) Connection and Installation Fees. The City Director of Telecommunications shall establish installation and other service charges which shall be assessed at the time of connection. In the event of termination of service for any reason following the original connection fee to a business or establishment, then the aforesaid connection fee shall be required in the event that the customer seeks to re-connect to the City’s internet services network.
