929.03 FREQUENCY; RATES; EXCEPTIONS.
   (a)   All dwellings shall receive garbage and refuse service at a frequency of once a week without restriction as to the number of containers which may be placed for collection.

   (b)   Each dwelling shall be charged a monthly rate of seven dollars and fifty cents ($7.50) per month for the garbage and refuse service. (Ord. 45-95. Passed 8-7-95.)
   (c)   Any apartment building or complex which contains more than four apartment units or any store, shop or business together with a residence, shall be considered a commercial account for purposes of this section.

   (d)   Each commercial and institutional account shall receive garbage and refuse service at a frequency of once a week without restriction as to the number of containers which may be placed for collection. Charges for such service shall be eight dollars and seventy-five cents ($8.75).

   (e)   Industrial wastes and/or building rubbish shall not be collected pursuant to this chapter and any such waste or rubbish must be removed either by the making of special arrangements with the Director of Public Service or by private contract arranged with a private licensed hauler by the owner of the dwelling, commercial enterprise or institution.
   (f)   All dwelling, commercial and institutional accounts, shall be permitted to contract with a commercial license refuse collector in lieu of using the service provided by the City, provided such dwelling, commercial or institutional occupant complies with Section 929.05.
   (g)   The occupancy of any residence, commercial building or institution shall be prima-facie evidence that garbage or rubbish is being produced and accumulated on such premises, and that the applicable service charges for the collection and disposal thereof, are due the City.
   (h)   All dwellings, commercial enterprises or institutions shall use the collection service provided by the City unless exempted pursuant to the provisions set forth in Section 929.05. (Ord. 52-83. Passed 9-6-83.)
