549.04 CITY'S REMOVAL OF WEEDS.

   If the owner, lessee, agent or tenant having charge of the lands mentioned in Section 549.02, fails to comply with the notice, the Director of Public Service pursuant to this authorization by Council shall cause the noxious weeds, common weeds, grass or plants to be cut and destroyed and may employ the necessary labor to carry out the provisions of this section. The labor so employed must furnish to the Director of Public Service evidence of appropriate liability insurance. All expenses incurred shall when approved by Council be paid out of any money in the City treasury not otherwise appropriated.
