549.02 NOTICE TO CUT AND DESTROY COMMON WEEDS, GRASS OR PLANTS.
   The Director of Public Service shall cause a written notice to be served upon the owner, lessee, agent or tenant having charge of any land, notifying him that noxious weeds, as defined herein or under the Ohio Revised Code, or common weeds, grass or plants of a height contrary to Section 549.011 are growing on such lands and that they must be cut and destroyed within five days after the service of the notice.
   If the owner or other person having charge of the lands is a nonresident whose address is known, the notice shall be sent to his address by registered mail. If the address of the person is unknown, it shall be sufficient to publish the notice once in a newspaper of general circulation in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. (Ord. 39-79. Passed 8-6-79.)
