545.13 DISCHARGING FIREARMS.

(a) No person shall discharge any air gun, rifle, shotgun, revolver, pistol or other firearm within the corporate limits of the Municipality, except within the confines of an indoor shooting range in a properly zoned area or as otherwise provided in Section 545.03.

(b) An indoor shooting range must meet the requirements of Ohio R.C. 1533.84, the rules adopted pursuant to Ohio R.C. Section 1533.84, presently in the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) Section 1501:31-29-03 shooting ranges, and the guidelines of the National Rifle Association (NRA) range source book to planning and constructing shooting ranges.
