Chapter VI (Obedience to and Effect of Traffic Laws) and Chapter VIII (Penalties) of the Michigan Motor Vehicle Code (Public Act 300 of 1949, being M.C.L.A. §§ 257.1 - 257.923), as amended from time to time and as may be amended hereafter, are adopted by reference as if fully set forth herein and shall be applicable in the City of the Village of Douglas as part of the Douglas City Code to the extent permitted by law.
