8-4-5: INSPECTIONS AND CORRECTION OF VIOLATIONS:
   (A)   The fire chief shall inspect as often as may be necessary all specially hazardous manufacturing processes, storage or installations of gases, chemicals, oils, explosives and flammable materials, all interior fire alarm and automatic sprinkler systems, and such other hazards or appliances as the fire chief shall designate, and shall issue such orders as may be necessary for the enforcement of the laws and ordinances governing the same and for safeguarding of life and property from fire.
   (B)   Whenever any fire inspector shall find in any building or upon any premises, combustible or explosive matter, or dangerous accumulations of rubbish or unnecessary accumulation of wastepaper, boxes, shavings, any highly flammable materials, or any hazardous materials and which are so situated as to endanger life or property; or shall find obstructions to or on fire escapes, stairs, passageways, doors, or windows, liable to interfere with the operations of the fire department or egress of occupants in case of fire, he shall order the same to be removed or remedied.
   (C)   Any person who fails to correct any violation cited by the fire chief pursuant to this section shall be guilty of an offense, punishable by fines not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) and not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) for each offense.
