8-1-6: DUTY TO DEVOTE ENTIRE TIME TO OFFICE:

The chief of the fire department shall devote his entire time to the discharge of the duties of his office, except that time designated and approved by the commissioner of public health and safety with the consent of the council, for other employment or duties. (Ord. 606, 1-28-1969)
