The ICC international energy conservation code/2015 is amended to read as follows:
(A) Section 101.1 is amended to read as follows:
101.1 Title. These regulations shall be known as the Energy Conservation Code Of Dixon, State Of Illinois hereinafter referred to as "this code".
(B) Section 101.2 is amended to read as follows:
101.2 Scope. This code applies to residential and commercial buildings. All buildings as defined by section 101.4 shall comply with the state of Illinois public act 096-0778, energy efficient building act.
(C) Section 104.1 is amended to read as follows:
104.1 General. Construction or work for which a permit is required shall be subject to inspection by the code official. The code official, upon notification, may make the inspections set forth in sections 104.2 through 104.7.
(D) Section 108.4 is amended to read as follows:
108.4 Failure to comply. Any person who shall continue any work after having been served with a stop work order, except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition, shall be guilty of a class B misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than $100.00 nor more that $750.00. Each day that a violation continues after due notice shall be deemed a separate offense. (Ord. 2997, 2-1-2016; amd. 2020 Code)
