7-4-1: ADOPTION OF INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE FOR ONE- AND TWO-FAMILY DWELLINGS:
   (A)   A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the building official of the city, being marked and designated as the international residential code, 2015, including the appendices as defined in subsection (B) of this section, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the residential code of the city for regulating and governing the construction, alteration, movement, enlargement, replacement, repair, equipment, location, removal and demolition of detached one- and two-family dwellings and multiple single- family dwellings (townhouses) not more than three (3) stories in height with separate means of egress in the city; and providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said residential code on file in the office of the building official of the city are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in section 7-4-2 of this chapter.
   (B)   The following appendices of the international residential code, 2015, are also adopted:
      Appendix E, Manufactured Housing Used As Dwellings, is added as part of this code.
      Appendix F, Passive Radon Gas Controls, is added as part of this code.
      Appendix G, Piping Standards For Various Applications, is added as part of this code.
      Appendix H, Patio Covers, is added as part of this code.
      Appendix J, Existing Buildings And Structures, is added as part of this code.
      Appendix M, Home Day Care - R-3 Occupancy, is added as part of this code. (Ord. 2991, 2-1-2016)
