4-12-1: PURPOSE:

This chapter provides for the issuance of permits for well drilling, construction, repair and modification of water wells for the reason that the groundwater of the city will not be contaminated or polluted and that water obtained from wells will not jeopardize the health, safety or welfare of the people, and preserve the present water table level.
